Liselore Nancy Mathilde Tissen (1993)
I have finished my Bachelors degree in Art History at Leiden University in 2016. During my bachelors I also finished a minor in Conservation and Restoration at the University of Amsterdam. I am currently rounding up my Masters in Arts and Culture: Contemporary art and World Art Studies at Leiden University. Besides this I am working as a registrar at the Nationaal Museum van Wereldculturen in Leiden.
My main interest lies in the conservation and restoration of art and the ways modern technology and materials can be useful. Out of this interest a collaborative research project was established with prof. dr. J. Dik of the Technical University of Delft (TU Delft) and prof. dr. C.J.M. Zijlmans of Leiden University. This project that I am currently working on focuses on the applicability of 3D printing for the conservation and restoration of fine art.
